Game Night!

Cabe and I have been getting in to playing games together, mostly phase ten, it is alot of fun. I have not laughed so hard in a long time! We laughed so hard we were crying! It was great fun!

While we were playing cards Khloe was spending some one on one time chatting with her giant ladybug! She was so cute sitting there chatting at it.

She also loves to sit in her saucer and play.

Happy Halloween!

Khloe and I spent the day up at my school with our friends and we did the costume parade with them, she fell asleep while we were on the parade!

The shoes I made to go with her costume! They were a little big so they kept falling off! :( they were cute while they lasted, and they were fun to make!

Bybee Halloween party! The costumes were great! My favorite was Curious George on the right, I thought that was such a cute idea!

These were some pictures that Aunt Tara took of Khloe, our cute lady bug! Her daddy's nick name for her is ladybug so we decided that that is what she was going to be for Halloween. I had fun making her costume, I love creating things! I ended up making three more costumes, two for my nieces and one for Caleb's niece. I was a lot of work but so much fun!

Our Family Update
Our little cutie is now 4 months old! I can't believe how fast she is growing! Her new hobbies are shopping with mom, smiling, playing with her toys, and rolling over. She rolled over for the first time on August 15th! I can't believe it, I want her to stay little!

This is my favorite face that Khloe makes! I have a confession-this picture was taken on my phone during sacrament meeting! It was just so cute! she is wearing her teether as a bracelet! We love having her at church with us she stares at us and smiles while we sing and she talks makes really funny faces, she makes it very entertaining. Not that sacrament meeting is not already entertaing it's just that...

I love that Khloe loves her baths! She smiles and sqwirms the whole time!

September 11- A day to remember- It was khloe's first night in her big girl crib! Yes she graduated from mom and dad's room and the bassinet. After four nights of waking up twelve times we kicked her out! :) She survived! Probably a little better than mom did. It was like sending my baby off to college! I hate putting her to bed!

September 3 Khloe and mom and dad got in their first car accident (ours is the grey one). We had a great night planned with a dinner to The Olive Garden for all you can eat for free (Cabe got a gift card from his dad for good work) and a movie and on our way to grandma Bowen's to pick out a movie a girl pulled out right in front of us, we didn't have any time to stop so we hit her going 30 mph. Cabe sprained his arm and my stomach was sore from the seatbelt tightening and my back from the impact. Khloe was a little fussy but as far as we know she was fine. So instead of our date night we spent the night at the ER getting xrays. Great fun eh!

YAY FOR DADDY! Cabe graduated this summer! Done with school! For now anyways! Such a nice feeling! No more homework!

Aunt Jenny bought a new toy for Khloe to play with. She loves to kick her feet up and watch the animals fly!

She is getting really good at rolling over! She is trying to watch the tv. It is funny cause no matter where she is she will roll and twist and turn to see the tv.

Aunt Becky let Khloe borrow this toy. She loves the rattling sounds and the qrinckly sounds that it makes when she squeezes the toys.

Down Memmory Lane: The First Year In A Whirlwind

After our trip it was time to get down to business on our house!

We did manage to get a few trips in. Our first was to Yellowstone. It was so beautiful and very fun!
This is Cabe's favorite picture from the trip! He was right on the side of the road. I was driving and we passed it so I had to do a ten point turn on a two lane road, good thing there weren't any cars near us!

Thank goodness for sun roofs, this was taken from the roof of my car! This is what Cabe looks like when he gets too hungry! Stay away! :)

Our First 4th of July together! I was sleepy cause my family nominated us to sleep out all night to save seats for the 40 of us since we were the ones who didn't have kids! Lucky us!

With the help of Melinda and Spence we moved into our very own new condo and fixed it up a bit: painted the whole thing with the help of Velda, Melinda, and Misty, oh and don't forget Kimball and Lex, redid light fixtures, hung ceiling fans, etc. For the first little while we slept in our tent cause we didn't want to move in our stuff till we were finished painting. It was a great adventure to wake up feeling like you were in a taco because our mattress had gone flat! :)

Wow, it has been forever! Yes Melinda I am going to try to get into this just for you! JK, I have been wanting to blog but haven't given it time. It has already been a whole year since I have blogged! Lots can happen in a year so I will summarize then pick up from here. Let's see, the first year was amazing! Lots of fun adventures! We spent our honeymoon in Park City at an amazing home of one of Spencer's work partners and enjoyed the shopping, Alpine slide, and roller coaster! It was a great beginning of a long adventure together!

On the Roller Coaster, Of course, Cabe made me go first! It was an awesome ride!

We opened the door to check the view from the bedroom and then we couldn't get the door to lock back up! :)

Cabe and I got married on May 22, 2009 in the Provo temple! It was a marvelous day! We weren't supposed to get married until the 30th in the Salt Lake temple but wanted so much to be married that we "eloped" with our families to the Provo temple a week and a day early!

The Beginning Stages And Dating Life

Caleb and I had our first date on January 31, 2009 after playing phonetag for a few weeks. He was very cute and definitly knows how to win a girls heart. He let me choose the activity and told me that the sky was the limit as long as we got to go to Paradise Cafe for dinner so that he could let me try the cookies from Heaven! On his way to pick me up he got lost and I got to sit on my balcony as I watched him pull into two wrong parkinglots before he found mine! I am surprised he called for directions becuase he doesn't like doing that, what a typical guy eh! Anyways, we ended up going to Paradise Cafe and then we went iceskating at Seven Peaks. Iceskating is my favorite! It was a lot of fun and he even held my hand! Who does that on the first date! It was good though, I didn't mind! Then he dropped me off 10:30! I didn't really know what to do cause it was kind of early for a date to end I thought maybe he was't interested or something!

I did not hear from him for a few weeks so I thought it was over! Then while I was on a trip to Arizona where I almost died on a private jet he called again! Inviting me to Melinda's house to visit her for her birthday. We spent hours talking while we waited for Melind and Spencer to get home (I love being able to talk to guys for hours it's a good sign) then we played the WII and just hung out with Melinda and Spencer.

Our third Date was AMAZING! It was Valentine's Day! The day before, we were texting while I was supposed to be on a date, good thing the other guy was late, otherwise I might not had gotten my first ever date on Valentine's day! It took Cabe forever to finally get the words out to ask me but I didn't mind, it was really fun to text! He finally asked me and I said yes! I was so excited to finally get a date for Valentine's Day! We went to the Brick Oven for dinner and then we went to Comedy Sports and then on our way to go country dancing he saved me from being hit by a car! I love country music and so Cabe was very thoughtful and took me dancing! Neither of us know how to country dance so we just watched other people and made up some moves! He held my hand again and for real this time! He even brought me a rose and said, "Every girl deserves and flower on Valentine's Day! It was on this date we both decided that we would be ok if this went somewhere!

After Valentine's Day we went out a few times a week and had a great time, cooking together, bowling, and going to movies, grading first graders homework (Cabe had to be in love if he came, spending hours in Eagle Mountain grading papers just so that I could get finished so that I could go to a Raskal Flatts concert I really wanted to go to) and going to first grade birthday parties. I lived in Eagle Mountain which is 45 minutes away from Springville so I ended up sleeping at mom and dad's most nights so that I could see Caleb.

One night Cabe had an appointment in Saratoga Springs for work so afterwards we met at the grocery store and bought some dinner stuff and barbequed at my appartment. Then we played connect four and built towers! On a side note this is one of my favorite outfits Cabe wears.

At Cabe's house for his dad's birthday, Melinda and dad Bowen got camera happy and took several pictures of us. We are a cute couple, what can I say.

"You should look at each other" says Melinda.

St. Patrick's Day at mom and dad Bybee's house making Argentine food from Caleb's mission (Empanadas) with sherbet and 7up and brownies for dessert. Yes we had both, I felt like chocolate and Cabe felt like sherbet. 7up and sherbet quickly became our favorite treat which is why it was our refreshment at our reception.

Friday March 27th- Iceskating with Megan's family, Brody, and Joe. This was a lot of fun! Funny story about this night...After iceskating Caleb wanted to show me a cook castle up on a hill in Provo so we parked and walked up a hill to where this castle was and on the balcony of the the castle there were a bunch of candles in the shape of a heart with a coupld dozen roses in the middle. My heart started pounding and I started getting really anxious but we kept walking up. I kept thinking that Cabe was going to perpose and then we saw another couple walking up and they walked over the candles and got engaged. I was a little bumbed but kind of releaved at the same time that it was not for me! hahaha!

The Start Of It All

So it all started on January 17, (Cabe's mom's birthday) Cabe's mom decided that for her birthday she was going to take her family to Devin's wedding reception so that Caleb could meet me again. Yes, AGAIN, Caleb and I were in the same ward from the age's of 7-12. We were in the same primary class where my dad was our teacher and his dad the bishop. So they came to the reception and as soon as they walked in the door I saw Caleb and thought...WOW! He is really cute! I became nervous and decided to act busy even though I didn't have any responsibilities, hahaha! The line was very long so I had to pretend for a long time. I went to my brothers and sisters and said, "Did you see the Caleb, he is so cute!" My brother Dustin took the liberty to tell Caleb that I was single and available the following weekend! After they went through the line Caleb came to me while I was dancing with my nephew and started to chat. He is very shy and quiet when you first meet him so it was a short chat! :) After the reception my mom and sister made me promise them that I would somehow contact Caleb and go on a date. At first I didn't want to cause I am the girl and it is not my job. Deep down I really wanted to though. So I got home and that night checked facebook to see if he had an account and sure enough he did! So I sent him a message and we were officially friends!
